Project:      Mayflower Close Eastleigh

Lindab UK have a nationwide portfolio of around 37 properties all of which are taken on a full preparing lease basis. We were contacted regarding Mayflower Close to repair and refurbish their existing loading bay canopy.

Based on their full repairing liability, it was Lindabs duty to ensure that the current premises were kept in an as was condition form date of occupation.


A situation that could have been avoided if period maintenance reporting were applied on an annual basis.

Based on this and a number of refurbishments undertaken on the Lindab portfolio, we are at present undertaking a presentation to provide comprehensive property services that will ovoid any costly capital repairs in the future.

Construction Summary

Removal of all damaged over cladding and support steels

Installation of new support struts and steels on 600mm centres to provide more long term support for the new cladding finishes.

Installation of all new powder coated plastisol cladding, colour coded to match the existing building structure.

Additional external sealing and painting of the external building structure, using liquid based weather proof coated paint.
